📘 Product Image Upload Instructions
Follow these simple rules when adding product photos to ensure the upload succeeds and displays correctly on the website.
- Maximum File Size: 500 KB per image (half a megabyte). Larger images will be rejected.
- File Type: Must be .jpg only. PNG, GIF, BMP, and other formats are not accepted.
- File Naming: Use simple names with no spaces or special characters.
✅ Example: horse_saddle.jpg
🚫 Not allowed: Horse Saddle!.jpeg - The system automatically renames your uploaded file internally to match its product record (e.g., product_6.jpg), so the display name doesn’t matter — this just helps ensure a clean upload.
- Keep your image dimensions reasonable — typically under 1200×1200 px is ideal.
💡 Tip: If you receive an “invalid image data” message, check that your file is a real .jpg under 500KB and try again.
